The 17th Avenue Allstars
The 17th Avenue All*Stars are recognized as one of the bright stars of contemporary a cappella … a journey that started 23 years ago at the legendary club Acappellas in Denver, Colorado. The group has performed their entertaining and family oriented show throughout the nation from Philadelphia to San Francisco, at family concerts, corporate events, nightclubs and large scale music festivals … for governors and US presidents. The All*Stars always “go the distance to create a completely entertaining and astounding musical experience for their audiences!
The 17th Avenue All*Stars are three time Western Regional A Cappella Winners and achieved top honors in 1993 as National A Cappella Champions at the Harmony Sweepstakes, the “super bowl” of a cappella competition. They have opened for: “The Temptations”, “B.B. King”, “Mel Torme”, “Dave Mason”, “Robert Cray” and “America.” The group’s soulful renditions of popular music cover a wide variety of musical styles and span six decades of hits.
