DAN MCGOWAN'S "JUST PURE LAUGHS" COMEDY SHOW
Dan McGowan, who was recently seen on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing,” was born into a show business family. His parents were nightclub entertainers who performed all over Nevada and California. When Dan was 5 years old his family moved to the Los Angeles area. Thankfully they took Dan with them. It was during these early years that Dan’s love for entertaining people was developed as he performed skits, songs and improvised characters as a way of delighting audiences of all ages which were primarily made up of family members willing to put up with his antics.
Dan McGowan’s interactive, off-beat comedy includes musical parodies, observations on life and anecdotes. When he’s not performing stand-up comedy, Dan appears in television commercials, on radio ads, in training films and more. He has worked on many famous comedy stages including The Comedy Store and Improv in Los Angeles as well as Comedy Works, Wits End in Denver, and Loonees in Colorado Springs.
Dan lives with his family in Aurora, Colorado, just 3300 miles east of Honolulu, Hawaii.
