Can you picture yourself in the heart of New York City, enjoying an evening of cabaret? Well, skip the flight and come to Nissi's for Debra Greene McCloskey and Julie Scott! Light jazz standards with a bit of Broadway and music comedy make for a beautiful evening of fun, laughter, and sweet music. When these two personalities come together....it's magic!
Debra and Julie joined musical forces here in Boulder after performing individually through the years in New York and abroad. They found wonderful similarities in their cabaret styles, having both traveled the world entertaining ~ Debra for Royal Caribbean Cruise Line, as well as in Matsuyama, Japan ~ Julie for Royal Viking Line and clubs in New York City. Debra and Julie's theatrical talents have been featured in many musicals, including Little Shop of Horrors, Nunsense, Baby, and Crazy forYou. Both ladies feel fortunate to have been raised on music of the 40's, bringing classic chanteuse stylings to well-loved standards.
Whether you long to hear some Gershwin or Ellington, or laugh over a good Broadway piece....Debra Greene McCloskey and Julie Scott will raise your spirits and soothe your souls.
