HIT LIST
Some people's musical tastes fit into a neat and clean little box. They only like one style of music, and they listen to it religiously - shunning all others. Hit List is not for those people. The members of Hit List believe that the vast majority of people don't fit into one box but instead enjoy a wide variety of music. This is the premise by which they create their live show. A show for the enjoyment of the masses. And as recognized by venue owners, their staff, and patrons alike, this is a formula that works like a charm.

Hit List is bringing something unique and fresh to the music scene. Their song selection, spanning the popular music genres and eras, is a constant source of positive feedback from those who've had the chance to take part. Fans enjoy the seamless transitions from song to song - sometimes hearing rock, country and hip-hop all in the same medley. However, the biggest impact comes from the musical ability and energetic performance that Hit List brings to the stage.

This is far from the same tired old group of musicians you've seen playing the same classic rock covers that they've been playing for the last twenty years. No, Hit List is a breath of fresh air for the stagnant live music scene. While the members of Hit List are well-seasoned music professionals, they're fairly new to the cover band scene. All in their late twenties, they only recently made the transition from playing only their own original music to bringing down the house with their stunning mix of covers.

The group's lead singer and band leader, Aaron Rose, is a charismatic country boy from Memphis, Tennessee who landed in Denver in late 2002. Not long after, he was fortunate enough to cross paths with recording studio owners and fellow musicians Pat Hanson and Roland Majcan, both Denver natives. Rose immediately found friendship and comraderie with the pair, and they launched into a recording project with some of Rose's songs. After finishing the recording a demo, Rose decided to relocate to California to explore his musical options. After a year, however, he realized that his heart and musical future resided back in Colorado. Shortly after his return, Rose was ready to form a band. He enlisted Hanson on lead guitar, Majcan on drums, and his previous roommate C. Andrew Brown on bass to form the group, Hit List.

The group spent the next four years playing together, finding that elusive chemistry that separates good bands from great ones, and developing an original sound that they call Outlaw Rock. It's a mix of hard rock, southern groove, country, and hip-hop. This unique blend of styles is what makes Hit List special. Having steered away from the original music scene, Hit List now brings their Outlaw Rock to the masses with world-class cover song sets. If you haven't seen a Hit List show yet, don't miss another opportunity.
