LIZ BARNEZ
Liz's music has been described as folk, rock, jazz, and rhythm and blues. Her eclectic style is a result of growing up in New Orleans. She began performing at 17 and eventually found her way to her original sound, which she refers to as "New Orleans Folk Rock." "Good songs, good singin', and good fun is what this music is all about," she says.
Liz has released four albums, including Liz Barnez Band, Inkmarks on Pages, and her 2005 release, Revealed. On Ruby - Live at Velvet, released in 2004, Liz joins forces with Maggie Simpson and Rebecca Folsom for an acoustic singer/songwriter experience.
Liz continues to tour extensively, performing in such events as the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, the Lyons Folks Festival, the American Music Festival, and the French Quarter Festival, among others. Liz currently calls Nashville home.
