LORRIE SINGER & BRADLEY KOPP

Lorrie Singer and Bradley  Kopp return to where their love for music and love for each other was initially formed. They unveil their brand new CD, “A DEEP OASIS” on Sunday night as the newest (and BEST) celebration of their exceptional song-crafting, stage mastery, and musicianship.

A DEEP OASIS is deep in talent behind the impeccable recording, and in the phenomenal band that will present the 13 new recordings, with many more of the moving material that this pairing of talent and hearts likes to deliver.  Bradley  and Lorrie are duo and duet, and also man and wife.

On drums will be Boulder’s magical Michael Wooten (Leftover Salmon, Carol King, Navarro) as the perfect personification of the musical bridge from Boulder to Austin that has long been a creative conduit for so many fine artists to travel.

Bradley and Lorrie will honor that wonderful connection by bringing acclaimed Austin band members, John Fannin on guitar, David Webb on piano, and Glenn Fukunaga on bass.

Those amazing musicians are prominent players in this interlaced musical network, where Glenn has worked with Eliza Gilkyson, Joe Ely, The Flatlanders, The Dixie Chicks, and Iain Mathews.  Iain Mathews (Fairport Connection and Richard Thompson) has been musically connected with Bradley  and Lorrie for more than a decade, as their collective musical synergy has interwoven them as friends, colleagues and artists.

Lorrie has been the absolute highlight in prominent original bands and show bands with a revered long-lived reputation on the Boulder music scene as the lead singer for the Legendary 4-Nikators.

Her versatility has included television commercials and being a session singer, including a duet she did with John Denver.  Her voice is as clear as her words are articulate, and with her soulful interpretation of what is heartfelt in all of us, she has risen to a premier level of female vocalists.

Boulder brought her to Bradley  and their combined talent on stage demonstrates their magical bond.

An event like this song celebration – live, recorded, or recalled – is an event NOT to be missed.  It will be a concert that will be as rare as it is rewarding, threaded from the fabric of Boulder’s storied musical roots.
