Artists' Comments Photo Gallery Links Lucky Me is five exceptional musicians from Boulder, Colorado who have come together to create an extraordinary Rock ‘n’ Roll band. As you can see from our bio-page, our credits read like a musical history of Boulder. We are Leftover Salmon, Navarro, Pearl and much more. Rob Galloway – bass and vocals Having been a member of the Colorado music scene since the time when dinosaurs roamed the Earth, Rob has played in many local, regional, and national acts. Longtime Coloradoans will remember Magic Music, Navarro and Tim Goodman. Rob has also recorded and toured with Carole King and Leftover Salmon, played in bands with Chris Daniels and members of Firefall and recorded with Iain Matthews. Currently living in Boulder County, Michael Wooten – drums In 1970, Michael joined Zephyr and recorded an album with a very young Jock Bartley. He later played with Slumgullion and worked with Chris Hillman, Jock Bartley, Mark Andes, Larry Burnett and Rick Roberts in a band that would be known as Firefall. Michael then joined Navarro, one of Boulder’s most important bands, recording two albums. Navarro went on to play on three of Carol King’s albums. Michael also played drums on an album with Richard Torrence, Rosemary Butler and Mark Andes and when in Austin, Texas, did studio work with Al Kooper. He later returned to Colorado and joined Leftover Salmon with whom he recorded three CDs and toured all over the country. Tom Wasinger – lead guitar and vocals Tom is a composer, arranger, producer, and multi-instrumentalist based in Boulder who has received three GRAMMY AWARDS and two GRAMMY nominations. He has performed live in venues around the world from Carnegie Hall in New York to the Cemal Resit Rey Concert Hall in Istanbul, Turkey. Tom and his music have been featured twice on NPR’s “All Things Considered”. Craig Skinner – lead vocals and acoustic guitar Craig and Jimmy met in Boulder in the mid-seventies when they were selling camping equipment at The Quartermaster. They started playing together at The Utah Moon and were applauded in many living rooms throughout the city. Craig also played with Gretchen Peters in a country band. He played at Molly’s Back Room, The Walrus and McCabe’s before he started Pearl in the late 70s. Craig was the lead singer of Pearl which performed regularly at The Blue Note, Boulder Theater, Tulagi and venues all over Colorado. Joe Jogerst – keyboards and accordion Joe was also a member of Leftover Salmon for 4 years and recorded on their first album "Bridges To Bert.” Joe's accordion and keyboards were a driving force behind the band's original Cajun Rock sound. Joe has appeared as a guest with Little Feat as well as The String Cheese Incident. He has recorded live on E-Town with musicians such as Arlo Guthrie and Laurie Lewis.
