MESSAGE IN A BOTTLE    A POLICE TRIBUTE

Message in a Bottle is a world class Police tribute band who captures the original flavor of the songs that made the Police so great and combines it with the energetic stage show of a fresh, young rock band. Message in a Bottle has a dedicated, loyal fan base that goes to every gig ready to party and have a good time. If you're a Police fan, this band is a must see, and if you're not, you will be after the show.

Alton King - Lead Vocals Alton has sung professionally for over 15 years. He began his professional music career in Florida, at the age of 19, playing with local pop, rock, original and variety bands. Before moving to Denver he toured the southeast for several years; playing many high-profile clubs and events throughout Florida, recording original projects, and opening for nationally known recording artists. An outstanding singer and keyboardist, Alton’s vocal stylings come from a variety of influences that spans five decades and many genres. Alton works as an Intern Pharmacist and is currently in the Doctor of Pharmacy program at the University of Colorado at Denver Health Sciences Center.

Mike Forberg - Guitar/Vocals Mike has been playing guitar, singing, writing, performing and recording for almost 20 years. Has played and recorded with a number of bands that had aspirations of actually accomplishing something, but of course, fizzled in the end. Currently he is working on a solo effort, plans on starting a new band and playing in the Denver area. And yes, if you close your eyes, you will think you are listening to Andy Summers…but without the bad English teeth.

Peter Henriksen - Bass Peter has been playing bass for 12 years, 5 at the professional level. Taught by his father, a jazz guitarist and pianist, Peter has played with punk bands, jazz combos, rock bands, and continues playing and recording with his pride-and-joy funk project Lopseyed.

Corey Stopperan - Drums/Vocals Corey has a degree in music and his Masters in Music Education, and has been playing music since early childhood. Corey's mastery of percussion becomes evident to the listener as soon as he kicks off the first beat. It goes without saying that playing beats written by Stewart Copeland takes a ton of skill, and Corey does it flawlessly. Did we mention he also does the backup vocals?
