Artists' Comments Photo Gallery Links DENNY FLANNIGAN - NAME THAT TUNE Come for dinner and play, "Name that tune! " Denny ‘Moondogg‘ Flannigan has appeared on stage and in concert with over 250 major acts including the Doobie Brothers, the Beach Boys, Chicago, Earth Wind and Fire, The Bee Gee’s, War, Tommy James and the Shondells, B.B. King and many more. He has performed in every state in the continental US. The first song written by Denny in 1964, ‘You’ll Come Back‘, became an instantaneous number one hit for 5 weeks running on Colorado’s giant, KIMN Radio. After the first 15 minutes of fame, Denny formed an unusual and unique two man comedy act with Gary Muledeer called the ‘Muledeer and Moondogg Medicine Show.’ The two toured extensively and performed in Colleges, Comedy Clubs and Concert Stages across the country. Denny was a writer, comedian and musician on many television shows including The Midnight Special, ABC’s ‘In Concert‘, The John Byner Comedy Hour, David Frost’s Madhouse 90, The Merv Griffin Show and a host of others. Denny currently resides and performs in San Felipe, Baja living ‘La Vida Loca.’ ‘Don’t need no Reason to Party‘, Denny‘s original song became the ‘Official Anthem’ of Playa de Oro (his home ‘campus‘) and the Beach Bar & Grill. Visitors from all over the world visit San Felipe and are currently enjoying Denny’s band, the ‘Suns of Beaches’ as well as his newly introduced original live game show Name That Tune! which has taken Baja by storm playing to capacity crowds for the last 36 weeks a Beach Bar & Grill. |
