ONDA
ONDA (Spanish for "vibe") is a nine-piece Latin dance band that has made a name for itself in a short time. Based out of Boulder, Colorado, this top performance group has averaged 100 shows a year with a healthy mix of club, festival, theater, and private event appearances. In recent years, ONDA has headlined the Boulder Creek Festival, Grand Junction Jazz, Taste of Colorado, West End Street Jam, Winefest, the Crestone Music Fest, Nedfest, the Boulder International Film Fest, and the Hudson Gardens concert series.
ONDA's members are veterans of the jazz, Afro-Cuban, and Latin music scene in Boulder. The band's sound encompasses a wide variety of Latin jazz, salsa, traditional Latin standards, and Afro-Cuban rhythms. ONDA's reputation as a top-shelf dance band with performance experience is well-founded. An explosive horn section, tight rhythm section, seductive vocals, and excellent percussion all contribute to the irresistible ONDA groove. A large, devoted following accompanies the band to each venue.
