PATRICK EMERINE BAND
No stranger to the entertainment and music scene in Denver and the Front Range: As founder, owner/operator of the Denver based music and entertainment agency Pro Entertainment from 1990–2005, Patrick produced, performed in, and was leader of some of the area’s most respected dance bands; Park Avenue, Heartbeat, Full House, Sudden Impact, Jump Start, (and more)… Over the years, Pat has also performed with some of the best known entertainers and dance bands in the area; Lannie Garrett, Hazel Miller, Sheryl Rene, Chris Daniels & the Kings, Jakarta, Jill Carr, (and others).
However, this project – the first ever to bear his name – is in some ways a contrast to the great cover dance bands that Patrick has been so well known for in the past. In his words, “I have wanted to be a part of a (musically) more interesting project for many years… One that performs songs that audiences “know” and will respond to, but one that doesn’t play the same songs that every other band plays… A band that is as entertaining to “listen” to, as it is to dance to.” So, as he has done so many times in the past, he created it.
The broad range of music performed by Emerine is difficult to pigeon hole. When performing with his full band, their repertoire is often described as “Music for Adults”, incorporating both contemporary and classic rock, “Indi” and contemporary “folk” rock styles, as well as some R&B, Blues, Reggae, and even a few cross-over Country Rock selections. As a background musician performing as a soloist, or with one or more members of his band, Patrick’s repertoire expands to include standards from the 40’s and 50’s, soft rock favorites, tender ballads and even up-beat inter-active sing-along party favorites.
The members of Pat’s band include Bob Croft (guitars and vocals), Bill Capsalis (bass and vocals), and David Heck (drums and vocals).
Surely to garner attention and accolades for years to come, Patrick Emerine and his new ensemble are not to be missed!
