SHAYNE BRADLEY
Shayne has been singing professionally for more than twenty years. She started out in an original alternative rock band and even made a record, but she soon decided to move in the direction of the blues. She then sang blues and R&B for years in clubs around the Venice Beach and Santa Monica area, but eventually she ended up in Colorado. It was at this time that Shayne finally took the opportunity to perform the music she had always wanted to—the music of Billie Holiday.
She was first exposed to this music as a young girl when she saw the movie Lady Sings the Blues. After seeing the movie and feeling a very strong connection to the music, she started to collect Billie Holiday records and sing along to them. That was the basis of her musical education and became her motivation to pursue a career in music.
