SHERYL RENEE
Sheryl Renee's earliest exposure to singing came from the amazing voice of her mother, Katie Love. Sheryl is the co-owner of Metro Denver's newest full service entertainment produciton company, called Black Swan Talent & Production. Together she and her partners Hazel Miller, Rhonda Jackson & Lori Cohen, intend to offer the best in professional entertainment. Musically and artistically, Sheryl enjoys a versatile career which includes some impressive career highlights including:
Renee produced and created the popular stage show Sheryl Renee and Her Salute to the Legends. The show features a classic mix of the music and history of America's great music legends.
Her accomplishments include winning the 2004 Denver Post Ovation Award and being named Best Actress in a Musical for her role in the one-woman show Hi-Hat Hattie, which was about Academy Award winner and Colorado native Hattie McDaniel. The musical was the first show ever to be held over at the Aurora Fox Theatre.
Renee also played the role of "Power Woman" in the New Denver Civic Theatre production of Menopause the Musical. This wildly successful comedy was viewed by over 71,000 people.
