THOM SANDROCK QUINTET
The TSQ is the Front Range’s hottest jazz quintet taking on some of the newest and freshest contemporary jazz pieces. Pulling from a large repertoire of artists such as Brad Mehldau, John Scofield, the Bad Plus, Joshua Redman, Michael Brecker, Pat Metheny, as well as past legends and original compositions, the group offers its own interpretations of a wide spectrum of jazz pieces.
These five musicians are comprised of Jeremy Wendelin on the saxes and flute, Carl Bauer on keys, Ryan Elwood on drums, Patrick McDevitt on bass and led by jazz guitarist, Thom Sandrock. Although the group bears his name, it is collaboration of all five of these young and exciting players: each member bringing his own flare and variety of backgrounds and styles. No matter what your musical taste or needs, this group is geared to entertain a wide range of listeners to please any ear.
