THUMPIN' Dance Party Thumpin's musical repertoire emphasizes the groove, delivering high-energy, danceable favorites ranging from Motown to R&B, old-school funk and soul to modern dance pop. The group features soulful lead vocals, pristine harmonies and tight musicianship. The seasoned musicians come from all over the country and bring together an impressive group of talents and influences. Says bass player Ernest “Hitman” Howard, “This is a band with maximum groove, playing the kind of music that makes your body shake.” Howard formed Retrosonics, an ‘80s cover band, with Thumpin’ vocalist Adam Huch last year at a chance meeting on the tennis court. After a bit too much ‘80s music, they decided to focus on their passion for R&B, soul and funk and recruited four other talented musicians to form Thumpin’.
