TOMMY AND THE TANGERINES
Tommy and the Tangerines is a Boulder-based sextet that plays original music with the sounds of indie and classic rock with a touch of blue-eyed, psych-pop/soul. Formed in the summer of 2010, the band has spent the last year cutting their teeth in the Denver/Boulder club scene. Recorded in one day at Coupe Studios and released in July of 2011, their debut EP MAIN SQUEEZE has helped to make The Tangerines a local fan favorite. Consisting of five independently produced tracks that faithfully portray the band's charismatic live performances, the EP has received acclaim from area critics including Marquee Magazine and Listen Up Denver. With more than three LPs worth of original songs currently in their live repertoire, MAIN SQUEEZE is only a taste of what's to come from a great new Colorado band.
