JACK HADLEY Jack was born in the Philippines. He grew up in the Haight-Ashbury district of San Francisco. His mother bought him an acoustic guitar at the age of twelve because she wanted to keep him busy. The family moved to Denver, Colorado, where he learned to play music by ear, playing music by everyone from Hendrix to Dylan, unaware that he was learning the foundation of American music – the blues. DELORES SCOTT began singing at the age of nine in her church choir. Delores Scott began her recording career began at the age of thirteen at Chess Recording Studio with Rev. Clay Evans and the Fellowship Missionary Baptist Church Choir. As a result of these recordings she had an opportunity to record and travel with the Revs. Milton Brunson (Thompson Community Singers), Jesse Dixon, Marvin Yancy, James Cleveland, and sing prior to keynote addresses by the late Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., Revs. Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton.
